Book!

Mark Seidenberg‘s book “Language at the Speed of Sight: How We Read, Why So Many Can’t, and What Can Be Done About It” will be published by Basic Books in January 2017.

It’s 9 chapters about how reading works and 3 about the educational implications. The book asks, if the science of reading is so advanced, why are there always so many poor readers? The disconnection between the science and educational practice is part of the answer. Click on images to embiggen.
