Congratulations to Teresa Turco, one of the undergraduate Research Assistants in our lab. Teresa is one of this year’s recipients of our department’s Bryan’s Aspiring Psychology Student awards. This is awarded to the students with top cumulative GPAs who have declared the psychology major in the past academic year.
Teresa is a junior pursuing a double major in Psychology and Economy with a math focus. After finishing her degree she hopes to pursue a graduate degree in psychology. In our lab she has been involved over the last year in designing and developing materials for an artificial language learning study. She is currently studying abroad in Spain for a semester, and when she rejoins us in spring semester she will be working on her own project, in which she will investigate learning from accented speech.
